For Nosferatu's 100-year anniversary, cellist Holden Bitner and multi-genre artist Kai Mote team up live scoring/retelling of the classic film by F. W. Murnau. Nosferatu: Shadows and Reflections creates an all-new, immersive way to experience the cult classic, complete with the duo's signature mix of experimental music. 

 

Raised in Nashville, Bitner’s musical background is diverse - he has earned a Master’s in classical cello performance, performed with symphony orchestras across the south, and worked as a professional jazz and rock musician. Mote trained under the late Carolee Schneemann before co-founding the interdisciplinary art collective Hidden Currencies in Brooklyn, NY. His work focuses on making the invisible visible, whether it be through perception, emotions, or sound.
